In the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and eighty seven, a petition was submitted and registered with the General Grand Masonic Council, Masonic Supreme Congress, for the authority to incorporate the Most Worshipful Eagle Grand Lodge, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, Scottish Rite Masonry, in the State of Delaware.

 

On the 26th day of June 1988, the General Grand Masonic Council, Masonic Supreme Congress granted said petition with a dispensation under its authority and jurisdiction at a lawful assembly in Exton, Pennsylvania for such purpose. The assembly convened with the full and unabridged authority of the General Grand Masonic Council Masonic Supreme Congress with a quorum as follows:

Grand Master – Ill. Bernie Grant, 33° M.W. Hiram Grand Lodge, PA

Deputy Grand Master – Ill. Elijah Scott, 33° M.W. Buckeye Grand Lodge, OH

Recorder – Ill. Carl Jones, 33° M.W. Buckeye Grand Lodge, OH

Junior Warden – Ill. Eugene Ward, 32° M.W. Gavel Lodge, PA

Tyler – Ill. William Carver, 32° M.W. Gavel Lodge, PA
Senior Warden – Ill. John Westbrook, 32° M.W. Gavel Lodge, PA

Senior Deacon – Ill. William Brown M.W. Gavel Lodge, PA

 

A Charter was thusly granted and the Ill. Rossi Hunter, 33° was appointed as Deputy Grand Master of “Eagle Grand Lodge” with the decree to establish said “Eagle Grand Lodge” within the Charter guidelines and to go forth and assemble good and honest men as candidates for and brothers in Masonry.

In the year of our lord two thousand and four, Ill. Febus AM Salem Hunter 33° was appointed Deputy Grand Master. In succession to the late Ill. Rossie Hunter 33°, Ill. Febus AM Salem Hunter was appointed and currently serves as the Grand Master of the State of Delaware.
